- Getting started: create, fill, evaluate, plot and combine fields.
- Gather and scatter: deposit markers and interpolate at them.
- MPI and halos: fields split over ranks, deposits across block edges.
- The kernels: the compiled kernels, their versions, and calling them directly.
- Scripts are complete Python scripts with their plots.

Getting started
A field on a uniform grid: create it, fill it, evaluate it, plot it and compute with it.

Gather and scatter
Deposit marker values onto the nodes and interpolate the field at the markers, with linear, quadratic or your own weights.
MPI and halos
Split a field over MPI ranks: blocks, halo nodes, deposits that cross block edges, and gathers near them.
Kernels
The compiled gather and scatter kernels behind Field: their versions, how one is chosen, and calling them directly.
